July is the time for the Annual Evans Transport Golf day!

Nine teams of 4 players did battle over the oldest Links in England. Royal North Devon Golf Club is 160 years old this year and were delighted as always to host our day. Most of us kept dry-ish on the fantastic course which is looking great as always.

The individual winner was Ryan Freeman from Atlas packaging helped along by a fantastic Eagle on the 13th hole, and Ryan was also in the winning team (above). He played with Matt Gosling from Maen Karne, Dan Battershall from Scania GB  and Les Webster who is retired from Evans Transport .

The second place team included Ian Binding from Harris and Harris Construction Richard Hughes from Gingerweb, Scott Cocks from Adams Morey and Kevin Wills from Stuart's Truck and Bus.

After an excellent meal Tom Evans precided over a Charity Auction with all proceeds going to The North Devon Hospice all the items auctioned were donated by those present and exactly £2000 was raised and donated.

Collecting the Match ball is Seb Sanders with Ben Moon and Christ Tshiunza.

This weekend Evans Transport were fortunate enough to sponsor the match ball for the Exeter chiefs v Leicester Tigers game.

It was a tough game with The Chiefs coming out second best on this occasion losing 22-17.

However this still leaves them in 4^th place with a losing bonus point and Leicester extending their lead at the top of the table.

A great day was had by all.

On Saturday Evans Transport were match ball sponsors for the game between Exeter Chiefs and Newcastle Falcons.

It was a great game seeing The Chiefs bring home a win of 35 - 17.

Wednesday 11th July saw the annual Evans Transport golf day at Royal North Devon Golf Club, Westward Ho! Sponsoring the best in Christmas show Dairy Heifer class, John Evans presented the awards to their owners at this year’s event.

The Evans Transport Chairman and founder is also seen with the judges and auctioneers at the show, held at the Holsworthy Cattle Market on Wednesday 9th December.

Evans Transport are supporting Richard Hughes from "Gingerweb Ltd" our Website team in his London Marathon run in April 2016.

Richard is running for the Caudwell Children charity who double every penny donated to them, so its a great cause and an opportunity to help children all over the country.

Richard is seen here pictured with Noah Wall who was the recipient of his fine new electric wheelchair at the weekend that will change his life. The chair was 80% paid for by Caudwell Childrens Charity which is why Richard chose them to raise money for. He hopes to put as much as possible back into the Caudwell coffers with sponsorship for the big run.
