Low Loaders

Low-loaders are versatile pieces of equipment allowing for large machinery and vehicles to be transported. We are able to relocate and transport all sorts of commercial, agricultural, forestry and plant type vehicles, as well as many other types of static machinery around the country.

Our fleet of low loaders are equipped with ramps as well as winches which provide additional safety whilst loading certain equipment or pulling immobile vehicles onto the trailer bed so it can be recovered to a place of repair or to a dismantlers.

Low Loaders are also particularly useful when needing to transport abnormal loads.

We have vehicles plated to the STGO Cat 2 requirements which can move these Wide, High or Heavy Loads. Evans Transport provide a nationwide distribution with this vehicle type and can haul a maximum gross vehicle weight up to 65 tonne.

Trombone Flat

Our fleet of Trombone Flat trailers and extending low-loader can be lengthened to 60ft providing a haulage solution enabling us to transport long materials throughout the UK such as wind turbines or lengthy steel sections.

The trailers ae equipped with side pins to add security to the load and can provide fall arrest. Our standard flats can also cope with many wide load consignments.

All required signage which will be needed to distribute your load will be provided.

A complete solution is provided when moving abnormal loads, our fleet of escort vans assist the vehicle and driver to the required destination. A vehicle escort service can be arranged if required when transporting your own loads throughout Somerset Devon & Cornwall.
