Among our wide and varied fleet we are able to offer hire services of specialised units. These are available at hourly rates or job rates
Abnormal Escort Van
Our Abnormal load van is complete with all the correct chapter 8 and abnormal load signage and flashing beacons to support escort our trucks transporting abnormal loads throughout the UK.
The escort van is available for hire with a driver within Devon and Cornwall.
Rigid Tippers
Due to our strong presence within the construction industry, Evans Transport’s rigid tippers work closely with the aggregates/concrete team offering sand, aggregate and screed deliveries.
These vehicles are available for spot hire or long term contracts.
Evans Transport also holds a waste carrier licence so we are able to carry out muck away services. The rigid trucks are made up of vehicles with 20 tonnes, 10.5 tonnes and 3.5 tonne payload capacity to suit a complete variety of jobs.
Sweeper Hire
This is the V65 model which is equipped with dual sweep technology wander vacuum and high pressure water system to help wash and well as sweep. It is the ideal tool for cleaning new builds, car parks and litter. This is available for hire around Devon.
The 16 tonne Renault Road Sweeper comes with the latest technology from Bucher (was Johnston) Sweepers.
Concrete Mixers
As well as providing concrete and screed, our mixers are also available to hire to help deliver concrete in a timely and professional manner.
We have a variety of 8, 6 and 4m 3 Concrete mixer trucks available.
Traction Only
Our fleet of artics are also available for traction only services. This means if you have a trailer you require moving we can collect from one destination and deliver to another or alternatively tip the load and return the trailer to the collection address.
This service can be arranged from any of our depots and priced as a day or half-day hire.
Tranship
Our yards have counterbalance forklift trucks available. We are able to assist in transhipping loads from one of your vehicles to another if access is of issue.
Alternatively, we can arrange a last mile delivery service on our fleet of rigid vehicles should it be required.
Sand & Aggregate Bagging
Evans Transport is one of the largest independent suppliers of bagged sand and aggregates in Devon.
Most of our aggregates can be delivered in bulk dumpy bags and 25kg handy bags. For regular customers, we can offer customer branded bags or use bags supplied to us.
Our packing machines can be adjusted to meeting the weight of the product required.
