We have the rare opportunity to rent a unit or take on additional storage handling at our base in Bideford.

We have different size options available to rent as units and which can be supplied with or without racking so you know you have sole use and access to the unit you can also tailor it your own needs by adding offices etc.

Alternatively we can look after your warehousing needs and charge on a per pallet basis knowing you have the flexibility of getting your stock with our trained staff when its required and not having to invest in expensive equipment such as forklifts.

All our warehousing is cladded so storing products which need to be kept at ambient temperatures is not an issue. All the units have 3 phase and single phase electric availability.

To top this off as part of the package we have on site security 7 days a week so you know your product is stored safely and securely.

Last week we took delivery of a cardboard crimping machine in Bideford. The machine has come in for short term storage to be rubbed down, cleaned and repainted before going to the end user. We got in a local crane company to lift off the 32 tonne machine and with our high ceilings we were able to unload inside saving time and reducing risk of damage by having to wheel in.

We are able to store an array of different products in our warehouse and organise the right equipment to unload or load. Racking and pick and pack service is also available

Evans Transport sister company John Seymour Transport Limited based in Maidstone Kent are pleased to announce the acquisition of Fast Forward International of Sittingbourne.

Fast Forward operate 7 vehicles primarily within the construction industry and a Freight Forwarding Division servicing the International Market. The company will still trade as Fast Forward International.

The depot in Sittingbourne will join the Evans group as another location where we can offer warehousing and transhipping services.

This latest acquisition is seen by the Directors as an opportunity to consolidate their position within the construction sector and add support to the International Division.
